A Little About Me
Hi everyone! I’m so glad you’ve stumbled upon my little corner of the internet. I’m Inessa, a wife, a mom of four amazing kids (yes, four!), Bible Believing Christian, and… a homeschooling mama!
We live in beautiful Canada where we get to experience all 4 seasons in their full glory!Life in our house is a vibrant, sometimes chaotic, but always blessed adventure. Between navigating the joys and challenges of raising little ones, keeping up with our two older kids’ education, and simply trying to keep the laundry pile from becoming a permanent fixture, there’s never a dull moment. And did I mention we’re a multilingual household? Let’s just say conversations get interesting when you start speaking more than 1 language in a sentence!
So why homeschooling?
It’s a question I get asked a lot. For our family, we had a desire to instill Christian values from early age without getting muddled with the “worlds” perspective, and weaving our faith into every aspect of our lives including education! We also want to provide a learning environment that nurtures not just their minds, but also their hearts and spirits. It’s about more than just academics; it’s the freedom to travel, experiencing their light bulb moments, its working at their pace, its about fostering a love for learning, encouraging curiosity, and building strong character and strong family bonds.
This blog is a space for me to share our homeschooling journey – the triumphs, the tears, and the (many) moments of “Wait, did that just work?!” I hope to connect with other homeschooling families, share resources and inspiration, and maybe even offer a little encouragement along the way.
